The Jr. 413 Elite Basketball Team didn’t just travel to play basketball, they made an impact in their first-ever international tournament appearance. The 15U squad competed with unwavering heart and left Puerto Rico with a proud 4-1 record, earning a silver medal and cementing their place among the Caribbean’s top youth basketball contenders.
🏀 Dominating the Bracket
From the moment they touched the court, Jr. 413 Elite came to represent more than just a team and their country, but they represented drive, discipline, and the spirit of American youth basketball. Their tournament debut began with a commanding win against Fraigcomar AA, 55–35, showcasing sharp defense and fluid ball movement. Game two was another clinic in focus and execution, as the team overwhelmed Tras Talleres Basket with a decisive 53–28 victory, securing the top spot in their bracket and punching their ticket to the Elite 8 playoffs.
🔥 Breaking New Ground in the Playoffs
History was made in the Elite 8 as Jr. 413 Elite defeated Tras Talleres Basket’s A Team 47–25, marking their first international playoff win. With growing momentum and unbeatable chemistry, the squad advanced to the Final Four, where they battled back-to-back games and emerged victorious over Costeros Vega Alta with a 57–47 triumph.
🥈 A Final Battle of Heart and Endurance
In what became a true test of grit and endurance, Jr. 413 Elite played three games in a single day, culminating in the Caribbean International Championship game. Despite exhaustion from a triple-header, the team dug deep and delivered a thrilling final performance against tournament hosts Fraigcomar A. After a relentless back-and-forth, Jr. 413 Elite fell short by just one point with a final score 67–68. While the scoreboard favored the home team, the heart and poise shown by Jr. 413 Elite echoed across the arena.

Not only did Jr. 413 Elite medal in their first international competition, they stood as one of the only American teams to do so, alongside the adult squad showing the world what dedication, teamwork, and leadership truly look like.
